Pick your meals and number of portions from our SLICE menu and we’ll have them ready for pickup or FREE delivery! Some cooking is required.

CHICKEN SUPREME 

Chicken stuffed with prosciutto and white cheddar cheese served with a creamy white sauce, vegetables and wild grain rice.

One portion: $18 / Two portions: $34
Order fresh or frozen.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Defrost chicken and sauce.
  2. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  3. Place chicken in a roasting pan and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until internal temperature is 165° F.
  4. Heat sauce on stove top until hot.
  5. Microwave rice and vegetables separately for 1-2 minutes until hot.

Roast Beef 

Slowly cooked roast beef topped with roast drippings, served with vegetables and your choice of potatoes or rice.

Two portions: $35
Order fresh or frozen.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Cook potatoes in the oven for 35-45 minutes with or separately from the roast.
  3. Reheat roast for 20 to 30 mins.
  4. Reheat gravy on the stove top.
  5. Microwave vegetables and rice separately for 1-2 minutes until hot.

Creamy Tomato Salmon

Salmon baked and topped with creamy sundried tomato sauce, served with your choice of wild rice or pasta and vegetables.

One portion: $18 / Two portions: $34
Order fresh or frozen.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Defrost salmon, rice and vegetables.
  2. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  3. Season salmon with rub.
  4. Place salmon in a roasting pan, top with butter, and cover with tinfoil or lid.
  5. Cook salmon for 15-20 mins or internal temperature is 145° F.
  6. Microwave rice and vegetables separately for 1-2 minutes until hot.
  7. Heat sauce on stove top until hot.
  8. Top salmon with sauce.

COD AU GRATIN 

A traditional Newfoundland dish! Cod baked in a creamy sauce topped with cheese and panko served with wild rice and vegetables.

Two portions: $35
Order fresh or frozen.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Defrost cod, rice and vegetables.
  2. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  3. Remove the lid and sprinkle seasoned panko evenly on top of cod.
  4. Bake cod for 25-30 minutes or until the top golden brown.
  5. Microwave rice and vegetables separately for 1-2 minutes until hot.

LASAGNA ROLLS 

Rolled lasagna noodles stuffed with herb ricotta cheese and topped with a hearty meat sauce.

One portion: $14 / Two portions: $26

Cooking instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  2. From fresh, cook for 25-35 minutes.
  3. From frozen, cook for 35-40 minutes.

Whiskey BBQ Ribs 

Ribs cooked in a homemade whiskey BBQ sauce served with vegetables and your choice of potatoes or rice.

One portion: $16 / Two portions: $30
Order fresh or frozen, please note that potatoes only come fresh.

Cooking instructions: 

  1. Defrost ribs, sauce, vegetables and rice.
  2. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  3. Coat ribs in BBQ sauce and place in a roasting pan.
  4. Cover the roasting pan with tin foil or a lid.
  5. Cook ribs for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Cook potatoes in the oven for 35 to 45 minutes with or separately from the ribs.
  7. Microwave vegetables and rice separately for 1-2 minutes until hot.

Vegetarian Shepherds Pie

Hearty vegetarian shepherds pie.
Upgrade to sweet potato mash for $5.

Two portions: $25
Order fresh only.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Remove lid and cook for 25-35 minutes.

Fettuccine Alfredo

Fettuccine noodles served with Alfredo sauce, topped with sautéed mushrooms, assorted bell peppers and a choice of chicken or shrimp.

One portion: $20 / Two portions: $35

Cooking instructions:

  1. In a pan, reheat vegetables and meat over a medium-high heat until hot.
  2. In a separate pan, mix together noodles and sauce over a medium heat until hot, stirring constantly to avoid noodles sticking to the bottom.
  3. Serve noodles and top with meat and vegetables. 

Pot Pies (Chicken/Beef/MUSHROOM)

Choose between our creamy and savory chicken filling, rich and hearty beef filling or creamy mushroom filling, topped off with our flaky pie crust.
Not available gluten free.

Two portions: $25

Cooking instructions:

  1. From fresh, preheat oven to 325° F, remove lid and cook for 20-25 minutes.
  2. From frozen, preheat oven to 400° F, remove lid and cook for 40-50 minutes.

CREAM OF TOMATO

Homemade cream of tomato soup.

1 .5L bag: $15

Cooking instructions:

  1. Defrost soup.
  2. Heat on stove top over a medium high heat until hot.

Sundried Tomato Puff Pastry Pinwheel

Cheesy sundried tomato filling rolled in a puff pastry.
Not available gluten free.

1 log: $15
Order frozen only.

Cooking instructions:

  1. Defrost roll
  2. Cut each roll into half-inch pinwheels.
  3. Place the pinwheels laying flat on parchment lined paper or a greased tray.
  4. Preheat oven to 375° F and cook for 14 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.

  2. List any dietary restrictions in the comments box on the ordering form.
  3. Phone orders can be placed on Tuesday between 2-4pm.
  4. Orders placed before Tuesday can be picked up or delivered the following Friday.
  5. All prices are subject to tax.
  6. Payments can be made by e-transfer to thecrossingpub@gmail.com or by Visa or Mastercard by phone before pickup.
  7. Staff will follow up with you to confirm details for online orders.
